How To Place An Order With Taylor Card Company

The first step of course is to find the perfect card for your occasion. Please take the time to be diligent in your search. We have literally hundreds of cards. Within each category the cards are not shown in any specific order, which means you may find some of our cutest or prettiest cards on the last page of that category. And we’d hate for you to miss the one that’s just right for you. For your convenience in shopping, we have the number of items and pages per category listed at the top and bottom of each page, if you simply click the “Next” button you will be sure to see them all!
  1. Once you’ve found the perfect card, click on it. You’ll be able to see the card enlarged along with pricing and supplemental items. Please read everything on this page to be sure that you are ordering everything that you want.
  2. Now, click the purple “Order” button, (found at the right of the screen, above the pricing and again below the supplemental items) this will take you directly to the shopping cart.
  3. There are several steps that must be taken within the shopping cart. First, enter the quantity that you desire to purchase. When you press “Enter” on your keyboard or click the red “Recalculate” button you will see your new total in the “Total” column to the right.
  4. If you would like to order Blank cards so that you can print them yourself, first, enter the total quantity that you desire on the “Blank” line in the “Quantity” column. Click the red “Recalculate” button, THEN put a zero in the quantity box above. This will give you blank invitations only. (Skip down to step #9)
  5. Time for your message! To the left of the “Quantity” column is a purple button that reads “Add Text”, click it. The text box will open up for you. Carefully, type in your message. It will left adjust, but please be assured that our layout artists will center and arrange all of your text appropriately. If you would like your card to read like the sample on the web site then you must enter that information as well.**If you need more than one set up, please see our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) "Can I have my card set up with more than one set up?" for details and fee amount.
  6. Now choose your “Font” from the drop-down to the right of the text box. Next to the word “Font” you will see “(view)” in gold, you may click on this link to view your choices of fonts. After you choose your font, you will need to click outside the drop-down before you scroll down or roll down with your mouse. Directly below the “Font” drop-down is the “Color” drop-down, simply follow the same steps as you did in selecting your font. Helpful Hint: when choosing an ink color, try to keep balance with the other colors by selecting something that is more subtle on the card that you chose. For example, if the card has mostly red and blue with a little bit of purple, then purple would be the best color to print in, thus keeping your card well balanced.
  7. Finally, if you would like to see a Free Proof of your lay-out you may make that choice directly below the text box. We suggest that you read “What’s a proof?” (written in gold in the same location)
  8. Click the Red “SAVE” button or all will be lost.
  9. Now you may choose any Supplemental items that you would like to order. Enter the quantity and if necessary, enter the text, font and ink color as you did above.
  10. Double check, then click “Checkout” at the bottom right of the page.
  11. Enter your shipping information, next, enter your billing information. If they are the same, click the “Click” button in the middle of the page. Please be sure that ALL of your information is absolutely correct. We will contact you via email.
  12. If you having anything specific to inform us of regarding your order, please use our “Special Instructions” box, at the bottom left of the page. Do Not ask questions in this box. If you have any questions please email us at sales@taylorcard.com.
  13. You may now choose your desired method of shipping. Please take a moment to view our shipping prices and options by clicking on “Click here for shipping prices” written in gold in the Shipping Method box. Using the drop-down, please make your selection. Once you’ve made your choice, please click outside the drop-down before you scroll down or roll down with your mouse, this will prevent a change in your shipping choice. If you wish to have your package insured, click the button nest to “Insured”. There is an additional $5 charge for this service.
  14. Rush Orders must be specified at this point as well. A “Rush Order” puts you to the front of the line, so to speak. It’s $25 and gets your order out the next business day. Please keep in mind that our order cut off time is 11 a.m., if your order comes in after that time, it will not begin processing until the next day. A “Rush Order” does not expedite your shipping, just the in-house processing.
  15. Double check all of your information and click “Continue Checkout”
  16. Before you enter your credit card information, read the entire page to make sure you have everything that you need, including the wording on your card and the price. After entering your credit card information, click “Purchase these items”.
  17. PRINT this receipt page for your records. When you need to reference your order either by email or phone with us, you will need your “Transaction Number” (beginning with “TC”) found on this page.
  18. Thank you for placing an order with Taylor Card Company. Your order will be in house 3 to 4 business days for processing and will take another 3 to 4 business days for standard shipping.
